AdEx Network
AdEx Network is a new-generation solution that aims to address and correct some of the most prominent inefficiencies in the online advertising industry, such as user privacy misuse, ad fraud, and lack of transparency in reporting.
The underlying technology is called the AdEx protocol, which facilitates the trading of advertising space and time, as well as the subsequent verification and proof that the transactions actually occurred. The protocol combines traditional peer-to-peer technology, cryptography, and blockchain-based payment channels to cover all interactions between publishers, advertisers, and end-users.
Currently, AdEx operates on a CPM (cost-per-thousand impressions) model, but the company expects to add more bidding models, such as CPC (cost-per-click), in the future.
AdEx accepts all types of publishers, except for the following:
- Sites that are not served through HTTPS
- Sites that encourage and/or reward random ad clicks or ad views
- Sites that employ ad fraud mechanisms (auto-refreshing, ad slot hijacking, etc.)
- Sites created solely for the purpose of displaying ads and offer no valuable content to the target audience
- Sites that violate the AdEx Terms and Conditions
Please note that the CPM for incentivized traffic will be lower, so publishers can take advantage of it if they would like to reach a wider audience with a smaller budget.
Withdrawals are only carried out in DAI, a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar.
