BackLinks is one of the first large-scale link automation platforms, helping hundreds of thousands of webmasters and agencies buy and sell links. Over the past 10+ years, the company has seen it all, but one thing remains the same: Nothing improves search engine rankings like relevant links from authoritative sites.

A site’s authority with search engines is largely based on the quantity and quality of the sites that link to it. BackLinks makes it easy for link buyers to find authoritative sites on which to buy backlinks. The system places the link on the page, handles the payment/commission, monitors the link page, removes any links with problems, and replaces lost links with links on comparable pages.

Webmasters can earn money from their unused ad space by selling links to relevant sites. They can add a little snippet of code to each page where they wish to sell links, then provide some information about the page, and the BackLinks system will automatically add the links and pay the webmaster their commission every month.

The BackLinks service provides a small section of code (PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, or Perl/CGI) that the webmaster can copy and paste into the page(s) where they want to publish links. These would be pages that are indexed in Google and meet the service’s minimum quality standards. Once the code is successfully installed, the webmaster can activate their web page(s) within the BackLinks service. At that point, the page(s) are made available to the BackLinks advertiser base, and they can choose to place text links on them if they desire. The decision will be based on factors such as Google PageRank value, relevancy, and similar factors. The webmaster can also enter a brief description for each page, place it under a category for relevancy, and filter out text link purchases from unwanted categories of websites. The text links will appear on the webmaster’s page(s) wherever they copy and paste the installation code, typically in a sidebar or footer file.
